An amazing read! I love how you have broken down the entire process of game audio into writing the game; writing the sound effects; recording the audio; and finally programming the audio in the game. I still have no idea how much or how little effort goes into writing the game besides planning the story and gameplay and the technical aspects. I suppose I need to find out some more about the how. Brilliant! I am very into and have often wondered about the history of games and how audio has been used and still is used. And I also love that it traces the development of current sound design and how that idea has been evolving through the years. I don't even know what a game composer is anymore.
